Vision
Voices Unchained is committed towards creating an equitable union. We believe that instutions should be reformed in order to indiscriminatly propel communities towards personal, social, and finicial success. We intend to achieve our mission through three distinct avenues: education, advocacy, and awarness
Education
One of the core tenets of Voices Unchained is equipping the next generation with the necessary tools to embody our mission. This begins with education. We hold monthly meetings open to the public which are carefully crafted to highlight the history and perpetuation of systemic discrimination. This will often take the form of educational workshops and discussion based learning. On occasion, speakers of varying backgrounds, ranging from leaders in the field to public servants, will join the meeting to enhance the educational experience.
Advocacy
Voices Unchained was built on the hope of creating actionable change. Thus, advocacy is a sizable goal for our mission. Voices Unchained will provide the tools and training necessary to become a certified lobbyist advocating for legislation that matters. Awareness
Voices Unchained aims to circulate our message far and wide through awareness. Join our social media @voicesunchnd to keep up to date with the organization’s efforts and to learn more about systemic racism.
Part-time advocate, full-time change maker, Jay has dedicated himself to making a difference in his wider community. A persistent believer in minority rights, Jay has consistently fought against systemic racism through lobbying and non-profit work. A strong believer in civic discourse, Jay believes that awareness is the first step in creating substantial change: the reason why he started this organization.
